Yes there is a dumb way. And if the finallyfast.com commercials appeal to you, then you’ve been installing things the dumb way.
First a summary. Chromium is the development version of Chrome. It includes all the latest shit that you’re going to want. Themes, extensions, a faster renderer, etc. This is the internet. If you’re you wanna be “finally fast” then get the latest snapshot of Chrome. Second, no you don’t have to update this every night. It would be better since you’ll be “eternally finally fast” but even if you do it once a week you’ll be faster than grandma.
Here we go. Lets set up Chromium.
I’m not going to give you a website to go to. I’m going to teach you how to use google. Go to google.com and search for “chromium nightly”. The first link should be the nightly snapshot.
Next we’re going to scroll to the bottom of the page and select the latest snapshot. I highlighted the latest in red, but in your case it will be which ever is the biggest number. Notice how I’m not as “finally fast” as you can be since I didn’t get the latest yet. I’m still stuck on the previous version. If you wanna be “finally fast” then check this site 10 times a day to make sure you’re always up to date.
Grab the chrome-win32.zip file. Fuck the installer. You don’t wanna be “always slow”. You wanna be “finally fast”.
Save it wherever you want to keep it. Unzip it. If you don’t know how, learn to use the google or get off the internet. If you set this up on a USB disk then you can take it with you everywhere you want. Once you unzipped it, clickety-click the blue ball.
Now that you’ve set up Chromium, Lets block some ads!

Get AdBlock+.
Clickety Click Click!
Click the empty space at the top right of your browser where an icon should be, and click on preferences to set up AdBlock.
Next select EasyList USA, click subscribe, and hit Save and Close. This sets up the filter list for ads.
Congrats, you are “finally fast” without advertisements.
